The Executive Committee of the World Union of Jesuit Alumni and Alumnae asked Michel Jadot to take the function of Chief Editor of the Jesuit Alumnus, the magazine of the World Union.
Michel Jadot is Belgian and alumnus of Collège SaintMichel in Brussels where he graduated in 1970. He remained a member of the Board of the College (the school) and of the Alumni Association for over 12 years in the nineties until 2007.
From 1997 to 2010, he worked at Horizons, the magazine of the Association of which he became editor until 2010. He was very close to the Alumni Association as well as to the Federation of Jesuit Alumni for French speaking Belgium, the European Confederation and the World Union.
Michel has a son and a daughter, both Alumni of the College Saint-Michel, like their father and grandfather. Professionally, Michel has made a quite diverse career, mostly in banking.
He is currently working as a Director of a few companies and living in Luxembourg.
We trust Michel will carry out this work with excellence and commitment. He can be assured of the full support of the Executive committee of WUJA.
The Jesuit Alumnus will foster a better mutual acquaintance amongst the alumni across the world by reporting about as many as possible associations and schools and showing the diversity of the alumni worldwide.
It will encourage building bridges and fostering interaction and mutual support between the alumni / alumnae across the world.
The Jesuit Alumnus will also promote reflection and affirm opinions in line with the ignacian values.
