The programme began with the Opening Eucharist at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Ganjuran, followed by the opening ceremony at Sanata Dharma University, where speakers included Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X and Father Arturo Sosa, S.J., Superior General of the Society of Jesus. The subsequent days featured presentations and discussions on Jesuit identity, leadership, mission, education and global challenges, alongside the Feast of St. Ignatius celebration, a fraternity gala and cultural programme at De Britto College, and dedicated engagement with young alumni.

The Congress concluded on 2 August 2026 with the adoption of the Yogyakarta Resolution and Yogyakarta Manifesto, providing a shared framework of commitments for Jesuit alumni in the years ahead. The archive also records the WUJA 70th Anniversary Gala at Prambanan Temple, the Congress theme song and after-movie, daily Examen, photographic collections, and a substantial body of English and Indonesian publications documenting the event and its messages. The next WUJA Congress will be hosted by India in 2030, continuing the global journey begun in Yogyakarta
